Luvthemama is proud and ecstatic to partner with P.E.A.C.E. Wellness Collective located in Los Angeles, CA!
"P.W.C. was created by passionate Black women committed to addressing the lack of adequate culturally informed mental health and wellness resources within the African American community. Graduate school is where we found each other and realized that we had the same goal and mission which was to use our knowledge and experience to improve the lives of our people. We all love being active, supporting Black-owned businesses, and trying exotic foods! Learn more about us individually by checking out our bios.

Meet the Ladies of PWC:
Makeda Abraham, LMFT
Holistic Psychotherapist
My focus as a therapist is always on providing a safe, non-judgmental, and collaborative environment for my client to be seen, heard, and understood. I truly believe that self-knowledge and self-awareness are the most powerful gifts we can give ourselves. My practice intersects traditional clinical training as a licensed psychotherapist with mindfulness-based interventions and a mind-body-spirit-centered approach. I honor the unique path of each client I work with. Together, we explore the underlying causes for specific emotional patterns while increasing awareness of the inner world/belief systems that create our outer world/external experience. I prioritize cultivating authentic trusting
relationships with my clients as I believe that through the development of the therapeutic alliance, deep healing is possible. I do not take for granted the courage it takes to reach out for support, and I would be honored to be a part of your path to radical self-care and self-love. I look forward to hearing from you and supporting you in your wellness journey.
Keonna "Kiki" Robinson, MA, LMFT
Grief and Traumatic Loss Psychotherapist
Wellness Coach
A native of Northern California, healthy expressions of feelings were foreign to me until I had to face my own emotions of love and loss at a young age. While learning to process my own grief, I grew to understand that proper use of language and emotions could lead to a path of honest healing and growth.
Oftentimes our thought patterns keep us from moving to the next level in life due to unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances that feel too burdensome to bear. As your wellness coach, it's important to me to provide a safe emotional space to feel and think freely as you heal, grow, and uncover barriers causing you to feel stuck. My approach is filled with compassion and honesty. We will practice new skills that spark conscious awareness to propel you forward. My clients learn how to “feel it, heal it, and rebuild it” as they attack real-life issues head-on. The majority of my experience has been with youth, adults, and families working to rebuild life after various types of traumatic loss. I also support individuals and couples as they adjust to sudden life changes and emotions. From a place of compassion, we will create a new narrative filled with hope, authenticity, and inspiration.
When you are ready, I welcome the opportunity to meet with you for a free consultation.
Monifa Ellis-Addie
Psychotherapist/
Behavioral Wellness Coach
A New Jersey native, I began my undergraduate experience studying movement/dance therapy at Stockton University in New Jersey. After working as a professional dancer in Los Angeles, Ca., I decided to return to therapy to earn a MA at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
With a focus on behavioral and human sexuality, I began teaching workshops on various female sexual health topics, such as sex toys that assist in vaginal health and healthy masturbation. As a member of the street team for A Touch of Romance, we supplied free sex products that promote sexual wellness. During this time, I heard many stories from women about their ill-educated sexual experiences. This led to the birth of “Coach Mo,” a female sexual wellness coach, who teaches women the importance of self-love and sexual wellness. I then expanded on this knowledge through my current work at the Banyan Therapy Group specializing in sex addiction, partners of sex addicts, and male sexual dysfunctions.
Throughout the years I have helped many clients overcome various behavioral issues including depression, anxiety, and stress. Combining these experiences with coaching allows me to support those dealing with a wide range of issues in all forms. My vision is to help remove shame and guilt about their feelings to help people be in tune with their true selves.
